Have you booked an event with us before?

Where would you like to hold your event in the Old Capitol Museum?
Where would you like to hold your event in the Museum of Natural History?
Will you require any use of outdoor space during your event?
Please note: we will review your request for outdoor space to determine if it is something we can accommodate or if we need to direct you to coordinate via the University of Iowa Outdoor Campus Committee.

Will there be high-profile guests in attendance?

University President or Provost, for example? Government officials or diplomats? Deans?

Will you be hiring University Catering for your event?

Please note: catering for all events is a separate cost and must be arranged through our only food and alcohol approved vendor, University Catering. We’ve coordinated with them successfully on many events. Learn more about their services here.”


Will your event include any A/V needs?
Will you be bringing any of your own A/V equipment?
Will you require the museum's A/V equipment?
Will a tech person be assisting with special A/V or hybrid setup (e.g., Zoom, livestream, video production?
Will your tech person require additional time for setup/teardown or a separate tech test day?

Do you or someone in your anticipated audience require any accessibility accommodations?
Please note, we must coordinate in advance with UI Public Safety if events guests require accessible van drop-off on the Pentacrest. Help us be most accommodating by coordinating as soon as possible.
