Join the UI Libraries, the Stanley Museum of Art, and the UI Museum of Natural History for the Iowa City Downtown District's annual Spring Gallery Walk! Celebrating over 25 years, the Gallery Walk is a free event that invites everyone on a self-guided tour of shops and galleries showcasing curated artwork. Be sure to get a stamp at each location you visit, 10 stamps could win you a big prize!

For your first stamp, start the tour on campus at the Main Library Gallery, featuring the new exhibition A Roll of the Dice: Symbolism in the Sackner Archive. Speak to gallery staff about the show, grab some free swag, and stamp your Gallery Walk card. 

You won't have to go far for your next stamp. Across the street at the Stanley Museum of Art, enjoy complimentary refreshments and music in the lobby before heading up to the galleries to experience the latest exhibition, it's a fine thing. 

Then, swing by the UI Museum of Natural History. All 3 galleries will be open and guests can find the Community Art Gallery Wall on the 1st floor, in Iowa Hall. This display features works by the community created in the museum during the recurring Art & Write Night program. It just so happens that an Art & Write Night will be taking place during the Gallery Walk—stocked with supplies and plenty of inspiration for professional, aspiring, or simply curious artists. All are welcome to join in or simply snag their Gallery Walk stamp during their visit.
