The Iowa City Gallery Walk is back for another year and once again begins at the Stanley! Celebrating one year since the inauguration of its building, the Stanley Museum of Art will be the first stop featured in the 2023 Downtown Fall Gallery Walk on Friday, Oct. 13 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Experience the museums world-class collection of art, discover the latest acquisitions and gain an understanding of diverse cultures and traditions by visiting the newest exhibition of Native American ledger drawings, “Drawn Over: Reclaiming Our Histories”.

Event will be accompanied by refreshments and live music by Aldolfo Mendonça in the lobby.

The 2023 Downtown Fall Gallery Walk is free and open to everyone to enjoy a self-guided tour of shops, galleries, and other locations that have curated featured artists and pieces of art.

Visit various venues during the Gallery Walk for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to a participating retailer!

To qualify, get your postcard marked at each location visited. Completed cards can be dropped off at any venue. A random winner will be selected and notified the following week.
